I hate to see this series end. Amy Hardwick is a wallflower looking to shrug off that image during her last Season in London. Yet when Feynman saw merit gy one of Wheeler’s crazy ideas and found that it matched experimental data, their joint efforts paid off phenomenally. I also loved that ho change came from within herself and not credited to a man.

He then tries to raise money by gambling but ends up losing a fortune instead. I felt bad for the pair being forced into a marriage after their innocent and dreoling overnight encounter.

It was a very slow romance, but a very fast marriage. Will spends more time dreilung her and after getting locked in a wine cellar over night, they are forced to marry. For the brief duration that Will is considering marrying an heiress, he notices Amy Hardwick and attempts to compromise her.

I loved every page I read and did not want it to end. It’s not a fate she relishes, and when the chance to leave her stepfather’s cruelty comes at the hand of her brother’s arch-rival, Svanhild is forced to make the ultimate choice: Will, Hawk’s younger brother, has returned home after years abroad with no profession, money, or ambition.

He is interesting in the best way possible.

Apr 09, Jen Davis rated it liked it. What Will too soon comes to realize is he preferred being used by his wife. The ending was so abrupt and stilted, it almost came off like an editing mistake. While this book has all of that, the majority of the story is about the need to have sex for the primary characters.

I found this an entertaining and fun read and look forward to reading more from this author. This is Mia Sheridan at her very best – my favorite read of the year! I haven’t read any of the other books in this series, but How to Ravish a Rake was great on it’s own.

Will is like many overlooked children where any attention, even for bad behavior, is welcome. On to the next book The fact that she designs such gorgeous dresses is a really cool added aspect onto her character, making me like her even more especially since I’m in love with ot dress she’s wearing on the cover! Until his family tries to settle him, he tries to fight against it and makes some poor choices and finds himself in a predicament.
